Q: What if none of the meals I’m eating have any Portfolio Foods in them?

A: No problem. We understand getting started can be difficult. We suggest you start off easy and learn how to easily add one new food at a time. Check out our Tip Sheets [hyperlink] for all Portfolio Food categories.

Q: Do I need to log into the webpage every day?

A: We encourage you to log in once a day and record all the Portfolio foods you ate! If it makes things easier, we recommend starting a food diary so you can also keep track of which meals have portfolio foods and which ones do not!


Q: What do I do if I have more than 5 points in a day for a category?

A: Amazing! Congratulations on getting 5 points in one day! We encourage you to try and do the same for the next day or try and focus on another category that has less than 5 points.

Q: What if I don’t know the grams or cup amount?

A: No problem. We understand it can be difficult to get the portion sizes right. You can try to check the food label (if applicable) or give it your best guess. If you over or underestimate your portions, it is unlikely to impact your total points!

Q: What if I forget to enter for a day?

A: No problem! You can click the back arrow to go to a previous day and enter your points. Try your best to enter for the next day! Consistency can help you better track your progress over time.

Q: I am unable to login. When I enter my username and password, I get a “You are logged out” message. What do I do?

A: Here are a few things you can try: 1. Refresh your browser or restart your computer; 2. Try to reset your password; 3. Try using a different browser (e.g. Microsoft Edge)
