  1. In a bowl, mix together tamari, garlic powder, water, and 1 tsp of canola oil.

  2. Mix in the tofu and marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

  3. Pre-heat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  4. Line a half-size baking sheet with parchment paper and brush with 1 tsp of canola oil. Lightly coat each tofu strip with psyllium husk and place them on the baking sheet.

  5. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes. Then, flip and bake for more 25 minutes or until the tofu strips are browned and lightly crispy.

Notes supplémentaires

  • Add more water in the marinade if it is too dry to marinate the tofu.
  • The strips can be stored in a plastic bag and refrigerated to use as snacks or in other dishes up to 7-days.
  • Tofu strips can be served as a snack with the cashew sauce or used as an ingredient in other dishes such as Pad Thai or Chickpea Wrap (see recipes).
