Andreea Zurbau


Dr. Andreea Zurbau obtained a doctorate degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Toronto and is a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. Her research centres on the relationship between carbohydrate metabolism and blood sugar management and the efficacy of dietary patterns in cardiovascular disease risk reduction. She has authored or co-authored over 25 peer-reviewed publications including original investigations, meta-analyses and expert reviews. Dr. Zurbau is a postdoctoral in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Toronto, a Research Associate at INQUIS Clinical Research, and a lecturer in the School of Nutrition at Ryerson University.
